The GWO Crane and Hoist Training provides participants with the expertise to operate and maintain small fixed cranes and hoists in the wind industry, both onshore and offshore.
Training in accordance with this Crane and Hoist Training Standard will enable wind industry personnel to safely follow manufacturers’ manuals, documentation, and relevant legislation. Participants will receive a GWO Crane & Hoist Certification on completion.

Course Duration: 2 Days
Certificate validity (months): 24
Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 2 years.
Pre Requisite: A valid GWO BST record is required for participating in the GWO Crane and Hoist Training.
Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID e.g. Driver’s License or Passport, and safety work boots.
Language: Training available in English/ Spanish.
